Sit down Rebecca Black, try harder next time Nicole Westbrook, she was the girl that sang that Thanksgiving song, we have a new winner in the most terrible music video awards. Now I didn't think this would be possible but let me introduce to you Danny or D4NNY (said "D" "four" "N" "N" "Y") to your screens.
Now I know it isn't really fair because he didn't have his parents spend thousands of $$$ buying their child a professional music video and auto-tuned voice from Patrice Wilson but some people are just not destined to be performers.
Anyways I hope you all enjoy this new talent and I am sure you will see him soaring up the charts in no time!
So I first want to apologise for my long absence, this has been down to exams and me just being lazy! However it paid off as I got a 2.1 in my degree!
Anyway moving on. I am sure you are all familiar with RickRolling, well I have found something that possibly is even more annoying! However unlike Rick Rolling, this site gives you the chance to see just how much torture you are willing to put yourself through!
I am of course talking about the Nyan Cat. Although when you first click on it you may laugh, when you reach about 30 seconds of "Nyaning" you will soon change your opinion! So head over to nyan.cat and see just how long you can Nyan for, and then disguise the link and send it to your friends. Below I have also posted the original Youtube video so you can have a sneak peek at what you are getting yourself into!
P.s. Don't forget to hit +1 and also leave a comment below saying how long you have "Nyaned" for!
Hi everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have been insanely busy with uni work and deadlines etc. Nearing the end of all that now though, just the revision and exams to go!
Anyway enough of me moaning and onto another new TV show that has caught my eye. You have probably guessed by now it is to do with American crime seeing as most of the things I watch are about this! It is called The Chicago Code and is, yes you guessed it, set in Chicago. The creator is Shawn Ryan who is also know for The Unit, which I has been higher rated to me but I am yet to see. There are no huge names really to be seen in this, which I liked as it prevents the show basing itself around one main actor.
The show is sits in the drama genre, with its toes just dipping into the humour genre. You will find yourself gripped, while also letting out a little chuckle every once in a while. I have so far only seen a few episodes, but am at this point quite impressed. Hopefully it will continue to keep me interested.
So after yesterday's post I found myself reminiscing about Pokemon and how great the original games were. This reminded me of an amusing Pokemon themed song I watched on Youtube, which anyone who played the original games will agree with almost immediately!
Hope you enjoy another little trip down memory lane, or if you never played it find out what you missed.
So this is my first post so I thought I would put something intelligent in it. Recently I had to write an essay about emerging technologies for university, one of which was social TV. During trawling through pages of people simply linking the original article we were given I found the video shown below. A researcher at MIT named Deb Roy looked into how his son began to learn the English language. To do this he recorded his son's life from birth to the age of 5 and parsed 90,000 hours of home video to watch "gaaa" slowly turn into "water". He then goes on to show how similar techniques can be applied in the field of Social TV.
Anyway I won't give away anymore, you'll just have to watch it for yourself but I found it very interesting! The original source of the video can also be found here.
